The Howard Hospital Auxiliary welcomes volunteers, both women and men of all backgrounds and abilities who care about others in their community. Any person willing and able to give 2-3 hours per week to one of the Auxiliary services is encouraged to join.

Auxiliary volunteers contribute significantly to the quality of care in our hospital. As a volunteer you can find a fulfilling and interesting job working with any of our Auxiliary services:

Gift Shop - This attractive area of the hospital, featuring unique gifts, is a fund raising project for the Auxiliary.

Home Health / Hospice - Volunteers provide office help for this program which allows patients to remain at home.

Information Desk -The first thing to greet most hospital visitors is a cheerful smile from a volunteer.

Medical Records - Office support is provided for maintaining patient records.

Patient Care Services - Non-nursing assistance helps make a patient’s hospital stays more pleasant.

Thrift Shop - Work in this important fund raising venture is perfect for people lovers. The Thrift shop is located at 1569 S. Main, Willits, CA and accepts clothing, household and reusable donations. If you would like to make a donation please contact the Thrift Shop at 459-0305.
