Willits - Howard Memorial Hospital strives to provide its
patients physical, mental and spiritual well-being. In its
continuing commitment to deliver the most advanced level of
comprehensive patient care, Howard Memorial Hospital is pleased to
announce a new physician to its family of caring professionals.
Edmond A. Zingaro, M.D., F.A.C.S. has joined the Surgery Department
at Howard Memorial Hospital. His services include Breast Reduction,
Breast Reconstruction, Breast Augmentation, Face Lift, Brow Lift,
Neck Lift, Eyelid Lift, Chin Augmentation, Ear Pinning and Tummy
Tucks. In addition to plastic surgery, Dr. Zingaro will also be
providing Botox and Dermal Fillers. Dr. Zingaro brings over 25 years
of Plastic Surgery expertise to the hospital in addition to his
professional practice as President and Owner of the Plastic Surgery
Medical Group in San Francisco, California. Dr. Zingaro has studied
and trained in both the United States and Europe. His education
includes five year General Surgery residency, with one year as Chief
Resident, at Nassau University Medical Center in New York, followed
by an additional three year residency in Plastic Surgery, including
one year as Chief Resident, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San
Francisco under the leadership of one of the country's most
respected plastic surgeons, Dr. Mark Gorney.
Dr. Zingaro is passionate about his work and believes in providing
humanitarian care. It was at St. Francis Memorial Hospital that he
began donating his time and surgical skills to the residents of Peru
and Guatemala. As a resident, he was sent periodically to developing
countries to care for those in need of reconstructive surgery, who
could not afford such treatments. In reference to his work in Latin
and South America he comments, "I'm often asked about the
relationship between cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery and
all I can say is that to be a good cosmetic surgeon, you have to be
a good reconstructive plastic surgeon. As plastic surgeons, we are
lucky to go to remote areas and, with simple surgical instruments,
repair an infant's cleft lip and transform a life. The feeling of
reward is beyond words."
“I wish to welcome Dr. Zingaro to our hospital and community,”
commented Kevin Erich, President and CEO of Howard Memorial
Hospital. “I know our community will benefit from these outstanding
services.”
Dr. Zingaro is a Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic
Surgery, and Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the
California Society of Plastic Surgeons and the San Francisco
Surgical Society. Dr. Zingaro is fluent in Italian.
