Willits - Howard Memorial Hospital is sponsoring The
American Lung Association’s Freedom from Smoking Classes. The
program is one day a week, beginning Wednesday January 14, and
continuing through February 18. The hour-and-a-half class which
begins at 5:30 will be held in the hospital’s conference room. There
is a minimal fee of $10 for the six-week-program.
“This is a wonderful gift to yourself or a friend to start the New
Year,” stated Patsy Broeske, Hospital Executive Assistant. “We
invite all who wish to have freedom from smoking to come join the
classes. It’s always easier to quit when working with a support
group.”
The classes will be taught by Jennifer Barrett who is thrilled to
bring this service to the Willits area and also extends her
invitation those who look forward to stop smoking in the new year.
“I’m thrilled that Howard Memorial Hospital can sponsor this
important class for our community,” commented Kevin Erich, CEO and
President of the Hospital.
