Willits - Howard Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce
the addition of two new vascular surgeons to its’ family of caring
professionals - Dr. Daniel Nathanson and Dr. Marc Levine. They will
work together in providing services to the community.
Dr. Levine grew up in Texas, and graduated from Rice University. He
then received his medical degree from Washington University in St.
Louis. Following completion of training in general surgery, he went
on to a vascular fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New
York. Dr. Levin has been practicing and teaching vascular surgery in
Northern California for over twenty years, and has experience in the
diagnosis and management of a wide array of vascular disorders, from
varicose veins to life and limb threatening conditions.
“We are bringing 21st century vascular services to the Willits
community, and it is a pleasure to join the excellent medical team
in Willits,” stated Dr. Levine.
Dr. Nathanson is the medical director of the endovascular
interventions program at California Pacific Medical Center. An East
Coast native, Dr. Nathanson completed his general surgery training
at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He then went on to
complete his fellowship with extensive training in the treatment of
vascular disease, as well as additional training in endovascular
techniques. He has won recognition for multiple awards, and has
received publication of his work by the Arizona Heart Institute. He
treats such conditions as deep vein thrombosis, diabetic vascular
disease, lower extremity disease, renovascular conditions and stroke
(interventional treatments).
