Howard Hospital Reaches Construction Milestone

After only 13 working days, the steel structure of the new Howard Memorial Hospital was erected. In celebration, Hospital and Foundation executives, as well as members of the project team, signed a commemorative steel beam that was placed atop the structure in a tradition known as "Topping Out."

A little over a year ago, Annie Morris was rushed to the emergency room at Frank R. Howard Memorial Hospital, wondering if she would ever walk again. Now, thanks to the Orthopedic Joint Center, she's doing the hokey pokey with her grandchildren.
